Obtained from grapes carefully selected from our plantations of Pinot Noir established in year 2000 and Fetească Neagră in year 2003, Cuvee Guillaume 2015 is an original mix of varieties: Pinot Noir, a variety of reference from Burgundy and Fetească Neagră, an emblematic Romanian variety.

The grapes picked by hand and selected even from the vine, have been vinifies separately in concrete containers, according to the local tradition, with the manual immersion of the caps. Subsequently, the malolactic fermentation and the maturation have been made in 1-3 years old oak barrels for a period of maximum 10 months.

Year 2015, a very good year for the red varieties, has allowed to be obtained some full-bodied wines, with typical flavours and a very good evolution potential.

We recommend you to serve it at 14-15⁰C, together with light appetizers, roast duck, game meat.

Kept in optimal conditions of temperature, light and humidity, this wine has an ageing potential of minimum 8-10 years.
